We understand that applying and enrolling to college as an undocumented student can be confusing and overwhelming but this should not stop you from applying! We want you to know that undocumented students can apply for financial aid. Below are 4 important steps to become familiar with:

Grants are awarded to you based on your demonstrated financial need. Grants do not need to be paid back.
California College Promise Grant
The California College Promise Grant (Formerly BOG Fee Waiver) waives enrollment fees for eligible students. Most Delta College students qualify so be sure to apply!
Delta offers a variety of campus-issued and outside-issued scholarships. Scholarships vary in categories and eligibility.
Federal Work Study (FWS) provides part-time jobs to undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money and work experience while receiving pay for educational expenses.
Student Loans are funds borrowed from the Government or from a private source at a lower student rate.
